The WTO Young Trade Leaders Programme is a capacity-building initiative by the World Trade Organization aimed at engaging young people in understanding the WTO and international trade. It creates a network of Young Trade Leaders who contribute to trade-related discourse and activities, including publishing content and participating in WTO events. Selected participants attend an in-person training in Geneva and gain access to mentoring and WTO training resources, with opportunities to contribute to WTO-related activities in their home countries.
Benefici
Gain understanding of WTO and international trade, publish trade-related content, attend a one-day in-person training at the WTO in Geneva, coordinate a session during the WTO Public Forum, access training programmes and mentoring, and receive support to organize WTO-related activities in their home country.
Requisiti
Applicants must be between 18 and 28 on the closing date, a citizen of a WTO member, not currently affiliated with the WTO nor have a relative who is, and proficient in English with knowledge of a second WTO working language as an asset.
