Mastercard Foundation Scholarships for Masters Programme 2025/2026 at Makerere University

The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at Makerere University offers scholarships for master's study (and is linked to a broader 10-year support). Applicants from Sub-Saharan Africa who face economic barriers must have applied for admission to Makerere University's main campus for 2025/2026, must have completed their undergraduate education in an African country, must not currently hold another scholarship or be pursuing/ have completed any master's degree, and must demonstrate leadership potential or community service. Age limits apply (under 35 at the application deadline; under 40 for refugee or disabled categories).
