The Mechanical Engineering PhD Scholarship 2026 is a full-time research fellowship hosted by INEGI (Institute of Science and Innovation in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering) in Porto, Portugal. It targets doctoral researchers working on computational models for fibre-reinforced polymers within the HOOPLA project, offering a monthly stipend and associated social protections. The successful candidate will develop high-fidelity finite-element models for advanced thermoplastic composites and contribute to documentation for reports and publications.
