Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) CUHK Route 2027–28

The Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS) via the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) provides a funded pathway for outstanding PhD applicants to pursue doctoral studies in Hong Kong. The scheme offers a comprehensive funding package including stipend, tuition waiver, travel allowances, lodging support, and on-campus accommodation, applicable within the standard study period. Applicants must complete two separate application stages: an initial HKPFS submission through the RGC system and a separate CUHK PhD application.

Submit an initial HKPFS application through the Hong Kong Research Grants Council system, then complete CUHK’s separate online PhD application and enter the HKPFS reference number.
