The Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) is a fully funded graduate scholarship programme run by the Government of the Republic of Korea through the National Institute for International Education (NIIED). It funds Master's and PhD study for international students at NIIED-designated partner universities across South Korea. The scholarship covers tuition, a monthly living stipend, airfare, one year of Korean language training, medical insurance and additional allowances. Applicants may apply via two routes: the Embassy Track or the University Track.

Requisiti
Open to international applicants who are citizens of their country of origin (not Korean citizens), meet health requirements, and hold (or will hold by arrival) a Bachelor’s degree for Master's applicants or a Master's degree for PhD applicants; age limits apply (under 40 for graduate applicants). Applicants who have previously studied in Korea are generally ineligible with limited exceptions.
Candidatura
Apply via the Embassy Track (through the Korean Embassy/Consulate in applicant's country) or the University Track (direct to an NIIED-designated partner university). Submit required documents including application form, personal statement/study plan, two academic recommendations, transcripts and degree certificates, passport copy, and health status form. Embassies or universities recommend candidates to NIIED for final selection.
