Institut français x Cité internationale des arts residency program 2027

The Institut français x Cité internationale des arts residency program 2027 is a fully funded residency for artists and cultural professionals to develop a research and creative project in Paris for three, six, or nine months. The program covers housing in studio apartments and provides eligibility for a residency stipend, travel, insurance, and visa support, with applicants required to have resided outside France for at least five years and to be available for the duration of the residency.

Residency in Paris (3, 6, or 9 months) with furnished studio housing, a monthly stipend of at least €1,100, international travel, health/repatriation/liability insurance, and visa fees if needed.

Open to artists and cultural professionals who have resided outside France for at least five years, are engaged in a recognized professional endeavour, and can work without professional obligations for the entire residency; must demonstrate autonomy and have professional-level command of French and/or English.
