Richard and Susan Hayden Academy Fellowship 2025 at Chatham House

Applications are open for the Richard and Susan Hayden Academy Fellowship 2025 at Chatham House. The ten-month fellowship is aimed at candidates in the early-to-mid-stage of their career to work on an individual research project, participate in the Institute’s leadership programme, and develop their professional network in international affairs. Fellows divide their time among completing a personal research project, contributing to ongoing research activities, and participating in a Leadership Masterclass Programme; they receive a stipend and have their reasonable costs covered by the Academy.

Monthly stipend (£2,365) and coverage of relocation and other eligible costs; access to the Academy faculty and alumni; five-year Chatham House membership.

Open to all nationalities; applicants must hold a completed BA degree or equivalent and be at an early-to-mid-stage of their career, with experience in conducting research and an interest in international affairs.

Submit CV, names of two referees, and a research project proposal per the topic guidance.
