Canada Academy Executive Residency Program 2025

The Canada Academy Executive Residency Program is a national eight-month program that connects mid-career professionals with industry leaders to develop creative, business, and leadership skills. It targets individuals who identify as Black, Indigenous, or persons of colour and aims to influence the next generation of executives and decision makers in the film/television/media sector. The program is presented by the Canada Academy with supporting and collaborative partners from the industry and public sector.

Participants will develop creative, business, and leadership skills and make meaningful connections in the industry.

Open to mid-career professionals who identify as Black, Indigenous, or persons of colour, with at least five years of experience in the Canadian film/television/media/screen industry (or equivalent).
