UNBC Momentum Award

The UNBC Momentum Award is a need-based scholarship for current full-time students at the University of Northern British Columbia who face significant financial barriers to completing their studies. It supports undergraduate and graduate students who have demonstrated academic proficiency and progression toward degree completion, with first preference given to undergraduate students. The award provides a one-time financial contribution to assist students in continuing their studies.

CAD 1,500 one-time award to assist with financial barriers to completing studies.

Full-time undergraduate or graduate students enrolled at UNBC who have demonstrated academic proficiency and face significant financial barriers to completing their studies; undergraduates must have completed at least 21 credit hours; graduate applicants must have completed 12 credit hours and/or have only one remaining component of their studies. First preference is given to undergraduate students.

Apply online through the UNBC Awards and Financial Aid Office by completing the Financial Barriers section of the awards application; no additional documentation required beyond the awards application.
