BC Rehab Foundation Individual Grant Program

The BC Rehab Foundation Individual Grant Program provides financial assistance to people with physical disabilities in British Columbia to help fund equipment and services that improve mobility, independence, safety, and quality of life. Eligible requests include items such as wheelchairs, hospital beds, ramps, lifts, walkers, assistive technology, repairs, recreation therapy, and driver rehabilitation lessons. Grants are awarded based on need, cost-effectiveness, and impact on independence, with funding amounts determined by the program committee. The program is administered by the BC Rehab Foundation.

Financial grants to purchase equipment and services that improve independence and mobility (examples: back-up wheelchair up to $2,500; scooter up to $1,000; lift chair up to $1,000; other equipment as determined by committee).

People with qualifying physical disabilities who live in British Columbia. Eligible conditions may include spinal cord injury, acquired brain injury, stroke, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida, multiple sclerosis, polio, amputation, ALS, rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, Guillain-Barré syndrome, and Parkinson’s disease.
