Marshall Sherfield Fellowship

The Marshall Sherfield Fellowship is a funded postdoctoral research opportunity for outstanding American scientists, technologists, engineers and mathematicians to undertake research for one or two academic years at a British university or research institute in STEM fields. The program aims to strengthen UK-US research links and to develop ambassadors for continued collaboration between the two countries. Benefits include lab or research support funds, airfare to the UK and back, a personal maintenance allowance, and a travel grant for research-related activities.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens normally resident in the USA and hold a doctorate in STEM by October 2027.
