AAAS-TWAS Course on Science Diplomacy 2025

The AAAS-TWAS Course on Science Diplomacy 2025 is an annual summer course designed to expose scientists, decisionmakers, diplomats and other stakeholders to science diplomacy concepts and related policy issues. The in-person program will take place in Trieste, Italy, from 21 to 24 July 2025, with an opening welcome dinner and a structured workshop schedule. Organizers cover participant expenses including transportation, accommodation, visa processing fees, meals and incidentals for selected pairs.

Applications are invited from participant pairs consisting of an Early-Career Scientist and a Decisionmaker from policymaking or related fields; priority is given to pairs from developing countries and Science and Technology lagging countries.
