Debbie Flood Memorial Master of Nursing Award

The Debbie Flood Memorial Master of Nursing Award is a financial award for students enrolled in the Master of Nursing – Nurse Practitioner Stream at the University of Prince Edward Island. It was established by friends and family of Debbie Flood to honour her legacy in Prince Edward Island nursing. The award is intended for applicants who intend to pursue a career in mental health nursing and who completed their last year of formal education at least five years prior. The award provides partial funding of CAD 1,500.

Applicants must have life experience; be enrolled full- or part-time in the first year of the Master of Nursing – Nurse Practitioner Stream at UPEI; intend to pursue a career in mental health nursing; and have completed their last year of formal education at least five years before the award.
