Westpac Australia-Asia Fellowship

The Westpac Australia-Asia Fellowship is a leadership-focused fellowship that develops Asia-capability and leadership skills through adaptive leadership training, real-world challenges in the Asia-Pacific and cohort activities. It connects fellows with leaders across sectors and includes compulsory in-person activities such as a summit and two residential leadership programs. The fellowship is open to students at participating Australian universities and graduates who meet academic and experiential requirements. Graduates are positioned to take leadership roles across business, government and community with enhanced strategic insight and cultural agility.

Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be studying at one of the participating Australian universities during the fellowship year at undergraduate or postgraduate level; currently hold or have graduated with a minimum of a credit average; and have completed an approved in-person learning abroad program in the Asia-Pacific of at least one semester (four months) through UNSW that commenced in or after Term 1, 2024. Applicants must be able to attend compulsory fellowship activities on specified dates in 2027.
