Nicklin White Graduate Travel Scholarship

The Nicklin White Graduate Travel Scholarship is a travel scholarship established in 2021 to encourage UQ Chemical Engineering graduates to undertake a PhD at selected overseas institutions. It provides up to $20,000 to support travel-related activities for successful applicants. The scholarship is awarded for a duration of one year and the number awarded may vary.

Applicants must be Australian citizens who are UQ Chemical Engineering graduates, enrolled full-time in a PhD program at a top globally ranked institution for chemical engineering, and must have already been awarded and accepted a full scholarship for that PhD; applicants must provide an outline of the travel proposal and budget.

Apply via the UQ application portal: complete the application form and submit a cover letter, resume, studies report, details of PhD study at the eligible overseas institution, evidence of acceptance and evidence of a full scholarship, plus a travel proposal and budget.
