Dr Paul Stuart McCarthy Memorial Prize

The Dr Paul Stuart McCarthy Memorial Prize is an annual scholarship for current University of Queensland postgraduate coursework students in the Doctor of Medicine program. It recognises academic excellence and supports students who have completed an approved interstate or overseas clinical rotation. The scholarship was established from a donation in memory of Dr Paul Stuart McCarthy and is awarded for one year.

Approximately $3,000 awarded for one year.

Applicants must be enrolled in Year 4 Doctor of Medicine, have undertaken an approved clinical rotation in the year of the award and completed this rotation interstate or overseas.
