The UQ Indigenous Commonwealth Scholarships (UQ-ICS) provide financial assistance to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students enrolled at The University of Queensland in undergraduate or postgraduate coursework programs. The scheme includes the Indigenous Commonwealth Education Costs Scholarship (ICECS) and the Indigenous Commonwealth Accommodation Scholarship (ICAS). Awards are intended to help with education or relocation/accommodation costs and are paid per semester for up to two semesters. The number of scholarships awarded may vary.

Financial awards: ICECS $1,500 per semester; ICAS $2,500 per semester; paid for up to two semesters.
Requisiti
Applicants must be Australian citizens who are Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander persons, enrolled in any coursework program in the semester of the award, and not concurrently receiving assistance from another Commonwealth source for the same purpose.

Apply using the online application form and upload required supporting documentation (evidence of financial circumstances, regional/remote residency, Indigenous status, academic achievements, community service/leadership as applicable). One application covers all scholarships in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Scholarship scheme.
