Connecting Culture Fund

The Connecting Culture Fund is a project grant to enhance research culture at BBSRC strategically supported institutes. Projects may be between three and 12 months in length and can support activities such as cross-institutional practice-sharing, knowledge exchange and development of resources or events around research culture. The fund accepts applications from invited BBSRC strategically funded institutes as leads, with other eligible UK research organisations able to participate as partners. The full economic cost of projects can be up to £100,000 and BBSRC will fund 100% of the FEC.

Project funding up to £100,000 (FEC) covering 100% of eligible costs; project duration funding for 3–12 months.

This is an invitation-only funding opportunity for BBSRC strategically funded institutes, which must lead or co-lead the application. Other eligible UK research organisations may be involved as project partners or collaborators.

Invitation-only application led and submitted by an invited BBSRC strategically funded institute via the UKRI Funding Service; project partners contribute to the application.
