Perimeter Scholars International (PSI)

Perimeter Scholars International (PSI) is an intensive, one-year master's programme in theoretical physics taught by Perimeter Institute faculty and affiliate researchers. Students earn a Master of Science in Physics from the University of Waterloo and receive a Perimeter Scholars International certificate upon completion. The programme combines two phases of coursework with a supervised short research project culminating in a publicly presented and defended essay. PSI is cohort-based and designed to prepare students for PhD study and research careers in theoretical physics.
