Beca Islas Mexicanas

The Beca Islas Mexicanas is a government-funded scholarship program designed to support Mexican-origin residents of inhabited Mexican islands who wish to pursue upper secondary or higher education at public institutions outside their home island. The funding covers living, transportation, and educational materials, aiming to reduce geographic and economic barriers to higher education for island communities.

Maintenance allowance, transportation support, potential tuition/subscription assistance, and health insurance in some cases.

Open to Mexican nationals who reside permanently on inhabited Mexican islands and who have been admitted or enrolled in a public secondary or higher education institution outside their island.

Follow annual official convocatoria announcements published by CDI or state authorities and submit required documents as specified in the call.
