Quantum Technologies Competition — Hardware Category

The Quantum Technologies Competition — Hardware Category is a hardware-focused contest that provides in-depth knowledge and practical experience in the physical devices, control–readout infrastructures, and experimental characterisation processes underlying superconducting quantum computers. The competition adopts a holistic approach covering design, fabrication, measurement, calibration and performance evaluation. Finalist teams conduct experiments and real-time measurements on superconducting chips placed in a dilution refrigerator system. It aims to raise students' awareness of quantum technologies and to develop interdisciplinary engineering and problem-solving skills.

In-depth technical knowledge and practical experience in superconducting quantum hardware; opportunity for finalist teams to perform experiments and real-time measurements on superconducting chips in a dilution refrigerator system.

Open to bachelor's and master's degree students studying in Türkiye or abroad.

Teams qualified to participate in the training stage; teams took an exam at the end of training and teams that passed the exam qualified for the competition final.
