USAID-funded Merit and Needs-Based Scholarship Program (MNBSP)

The USAID-funded Merit and Needs-Based Scholarship Program (MNBSP) provides scholarships to academically qualified but financially disadvantaged Pakistani students to enable them to continue higher studies. The programme has been implemented in phases across multiple public and private partner universities in Pakistan and covers a range of disciplines including agriculture, business, engineering, medicine, nursing and social sciences. Phase II expanded the number of partner institutions nationwide and introduced capacity-building trainings, career-path workshops for selected students and alumni-network strengthening. The programme reserves a portion of scholarships for female students and includes targeted participation by women's universities.
