International Foundation Scholarship – Faculty of Science and Engineering

The International Foundation Scholarship (Faculty of Science and Engineering) is an institutional award for international students joining eligible International Foundation or Integrated Foundation programmes at Queen Mary University of London. Ten awards of £3,000 each will be made for the September 2026 intake. Scholarships are applied as a deduction from tuition fees and are awarded on a rolling basis until all awards have been allocated. The award applies only to the foundation year or first year of an integrated foundation degree and cannot be deferred.

£3,000 tuition-fee reduction

Applicants must hold an offer for an eligible Foundation programme for the September 2026 intake, have international (Overseas) fee status, submit a strong personal statement demonstrating commitment to Queen Mary’s values, be fully self-funded for remaining fees and living costs, enrol full-time, and must not be in receipt of any other University scholarship or full-fee scholarship.

Apply for an eligible Foundation programme at Queen Mary and receive an offer; an invitation link to complete a scholarship application form will be emailed to offer-holders. Applications are reviewed and scholarships awarded on a rolling basis until all awards are allocated.
