LSHTM–Royal Society PhD Studentship (2026–27)

The LSHTM–Royal Society PhD Studentship is a full-time, three-year doctoral studentship (extendable to 3.5 years) based in the Department of Infection Biology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. The project focuses on immunology and vaccinology for malaria, with options to work on identifying novel antigen targets or on CD4+ T cell–mediated protection. The award includes tuition at the LSHTM Home fee rate, a tax-free stipend, and support for research consumables and training.
