Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Young Leaders Training Program 2025

The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Young Leaders Training Program 2025 is a training program aimed at strengthening the political participation of young people involved in civil society, unions and political parties in Cameroon. It consists of 2-day trainings (Thursday to Friday) at the end of each month from March to October, either in person or via Zoom, addressing themes related to political leadership, communication and operational management tools. The program seeks to select 25 young women and men to participate.

Participants attend 2-day trainings and monthly sessions (March–October) addressing leadership, communication and operational management tools. the program provides ongoing training opportunities and networking with peers and mentors, with in-person or Zoom delivery.

Be between 18 and 35 years old, reside in Cameroon, be available for all sessions, have a university degree or be in the process of obtaining one, be politically active, and be involved in civil society, a political party or a union.

Submit a two-page cover letter and a detailed CV (2 pages max) in PDF by email to youngleaders(at)fes-kamerun.org before December 15, 2024 at 4 p.m., addressing the program's aims and your contribution to Cameroon. Shortlisted candidates may be contacted; interviews are planned for January 2025.
