Horace Mann Employee College Scholarship Program

The Horace Mann Employee College Scholarship Program provides up to $5,000 for Horace Mann employees pursuing undergraduate or graduate coursework related to their job or a business-related degree. Awards are disbursed to the educational institution and require maintaining active full-time employment and a grade of C or better. Recipients may apply again in future years if they continue to meet eligibility requirements.

Financial award up to $5,000; funds paid to the educational institution; eligibility for reapplication in subsequent years.

Applicants must be full-time active Horace Mann employees with at least one year of employment and plan to enroll in undergraduate or graduate studies at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university for at least one term during the 2027 calendar year, in courses related to their job or a business-related degree.

Submit an application through Scholarship America; provide required materials including transcripts and supervisor verification; course must start before 2027-12-31; recipients must maintain employment and provide proof of coursework.
