Thomas Jefferson Scholarship Program 2025-2026

The Thomas Jefferson Scholarship Program provides opportunities for full-time, undergraduate students from Tunisia to spend one academic year of non-degree study at a U.S. university or college. The program includes academic coursework, an online leadership curriculum, community service, and a part-time internship. It is a fully funded scholarship supported by the United States Department of State and implemented by IREX.

Full funding for one academic year of study in the U.S., leadership development, community service opportunities, and a part-time internship.

Open to Tunisian citizens currently residing in Tunisia who are full-time undergraduate students in good academic standing, in their second year or higher, and able to obtain a U.S. J-1 visa.
