Fondo de Estudios sobre el Pluralismo en el Sistema Informativo Nacional — Concurso 2026

The Fondo de Estudios sobre el Pluralismo funds academic studies that detect, evaluate, promote or consolidate pluralism within the national information system. Projects should address one or more specified research lines such as audience information habits, media agenda formation, media organization and economic/political effects, online platforms and social networks, characterization of disinformation, and effects of disinformation on democracy and polarization. The grant supports projects executed by a national beneficiary institution over a twelve-month execution period.

Project funding covering up to 90% of total project costs; specified maximum CLP amounts depending on region; twelve-month project duration.

Proposals must be submitted by a Beneficiary Institution (a national legal entity, non-profit, including universities and higher education institutions recognized by the State). A Responsible Researcher employed at the Beneficiary Institution with research experience in the relevant lines may apply.

Submit the application using the official ANID application form and required documents (application form, budget and activity plan, institutional commitment letter, sworn statement of the responsible researcher) via ANID's application portal.
