A collectivist, economic perspective on AI is a public lecture exploring how learning algorithms and economic mechanisms can create intelligent systems that benefit individuals and society. The event features Professor Michael I. Jordan as speaker with a discussant and chair, and examines AI both as individual agents and as collectives of people, machines, institutions and markets. The lecture is hosted by the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) Department of Statistics and is available in-person and via live stream.
