Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at McGill University 2025/2026

The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at McGill University offers a graduate-level scholarship for Sub-Saharan African students pursuing master’s programs. The program provides comprehensive support including tuition, housing, a monthly stipend, academic tools, mentorship, leadership development, and post-graduation transition support. It aims to develop leaders who will contribute to nutrition, public health, public policy, and sustainable agriculture sectors in Africa.

Applicants must be admissible to McGill University, have never completed a master’s degree, be a citizen of and reside in Sub-Saharan Africa, hold a valid passport and be admissible to Canada as an international student, have a record of leadership and service, and be under 35 years old at the time of application.
