Sixi International Artist-in-Residence 2027

The Sixi International Artist-in-Residence 2027 is a fully funded international residency opportunity for artists and creatives from around the world, hosted by the Sixi Museum in Nanjing, China. The program runs across two residency sessions in 2027, hosting four artists per session for three months each, and includes cultural activities, workshops, and exhibitions. Participants receive support such as travel, visa costs, insurance, accommodation, workspace, and materials assistance.

Round-trip airfare to China, visa costs, insurance, accommodation for the full residency, fully equipped workspace and studio, funding for art materials and production supplies, artistic/technical/administrative support, networking opportunities, participation in talks/workshops/exhibitions.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, be artists or creatives in an artistic field, and be available for the full three-month residency. Proficiency in English or Chinese (Mandarin) is required, and applicants must submit a clear artistic proposal related to one of the themes for the residency along with a portfolio.
