The IDM-Africa Fellowship Programme in Infectious Disease Modelling 2026 is a 12-month fellowship for African researchers to strengthen quantitative modelling and public health research skills. It provides mentorship, practical research experience, and support for travel, placement, and publication fees, with placements at partner institutions in sub-Saharan Africa. The programme targets early-career and mid-career researchers to develop modelling work that informs public health decisions in Africa.

Benefici

Monthly stipend for 12 months, travel and placement support (return economy tickets, visa fees, travel insurance, on-site accommodation, ground transport), publication fee support, and structured mentorship.

Requisiti

The fellowship targets early-career and mid-career researchers affiliated with institutions in eligible sub-Saharan African countries within the EDCTP Association.
