Proof of Concept Grants in AI, Quantum technologies or ICT

The Proof of Concept Grant supports academic researchers in developing early-stage discoveries toward validated methods, products or processes and preparing them for innovation or commercialization. Grants are linked to the Wallenberg Launch Pad (WALP) mechanism and are paid to the recipient's university under the terms set by the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation. The call is directed to projects in AI, quantum technologies or ICT and emphasizes verification of usability and suitability of proposed innovations.

A Proof of Concept grant paid to the recipient's university to support development and validation activities that prepare research for innovation or commercialization.

Scientists employed at a Swedish university who have or have had grants from the Wallenberg Foundations (including Wallenberg Academy Fellows, Wallenberg Scholars, Wallenberg Clinical Scholars, PI and Co-PIs in KAW projects) or are grant holders in KAW strategic initiatives (e.g. WASP, WACQT, WISE, WCMM, DDLS, SciLifeLab, WIFORCE) and related Wallenberg initiatives.
