Capacity Accelerator Network (CAN) Data Science Fellowship 2024

The CAN Data Science Fellowship 2024 is a full-time fellowship aimed at developing data science talent for climate and health impact across Africa. Fellows work on projects with host institutions and mentors, gain practical project experience, receive media training, and have opportunities to present their work at local, regional, and international events. The program includes a monthly stipend while fellows are based at a government department or SIO office during the assignment period.

Candidates must have completed a first university degree, demonstrate capacity for independent advanced academic research, and have at least 3 years of working experience in data management, analysis, and visualization.
