KHMW Dr. Saal van Zwanenberg Research Prizes

The KHMW Dr. Saal van Zwanenberg Research Prizes are annual awards for master's-level research on pharmaceutical and/or medical sciences with a focus on medicines. Three monetary prizes are awarded each year (€3,000, €2,000 and €1,000) to students who have written a master's research report where the medicinal drug is central. The prizes are administered by the Koninklijke Hollandsche Maatschappij der Wetenschappen (KHMW) on behalf of the Dr. Saal van Zwanenberg Stichting.

Monetary prize of €3,000, €2,000 or €1,000 depending on placement.

The 2025 prizes are intended for students graduating in the 2025/2026 academic year from a master's programme at a Dutch institution for higher education who have written a master's research report in the pharmaceutical and/or medical sciences with the drug as the central subject.

Candidates are nominated; nominations must be submitted via the nomination form on the KHMW prizes website (inschrijfformulier).
