Românii sub teroarea totalitară. Represiunea în România și Uniunea Sovietică: evaluare comparativă (1940-1989)

An academic conference on repression in Romania and the Soviet Union between 1940 and 1989, organised by the National Institute for the Study of Totalitarianism of the Romanian Academy in partnership with the Institute of History of the State University of Moldova and the Senate Foreign Policy Committee. The event gathers historians and specialists in 20th-century history and is structured in three sessions covering deportations, repressive policies and identity destruction. Fifteen research presentations by scholars from Romanian and Moldovan research institutes and archival bodies are scheduled.
