Bancroft-Mackerras Medal for Excellence

The Bancroft-Mackerras Medal for Excellence is an award presented by the Australian Society for Parasitology to recognise outstanding contributions to the science of parasitology. The medal and certificate are presented to an Ordinary member or Fellow judged by a selection committee to have made an outstanding contribution, particularly for work published during the last five years. The recipient delivers an oration at the Society's annual conference, is reimbursed for reasonable travel costs to that conference, and is a guest of the Society for the duration of the conference.

Open to Ordinary members or Fellows of the Australian Society for Parasitology who have made an outstanding contribution to the science of parasitology, particularly for work published during the last five years.
