Asia Journalism Fellowship (AJF) 2026

The Asia Journalism Fellowship (AJF) is a fellowship for experienced journalists from across Asia to learn, collaborate, and build professional and personal connections. It is hosted by the Institute of Policy Studies at the National University of Singapore, in partnership with Temasek Foundation, and includes eight weeks of online and in-person activities in Singapore.

Airfare and visa costs up to a cap, local airport transfer, a monthly stipend, accommodation in serviced apartments, and access to library resources and online tools during the programme.

Applicants must have at least five years of professional journalism experience, be working full-time as a journalist in Asia, and have English proficiency; if employed, the employer must permit participation in the full eight-week fellowship.

Submit the application package by the stated deadline, including a form, letters of recommendation, past work samples, a personal statement, a video, educational certificates, and data protection form.
