Paving the way to research excellence, talent attraction and results valorization

The programme is a competitive call for projects aimed at strengthening research excellence, attracting talent and valorizing research results in the Piemonte and Liguria regions. It operates through two lines: Line 1 supports research projects positively evaluated in competitive international and European calls but not funded due to lack of resources; Line 2 targets holders of the MSCA Seal of Excellence, enabling them to develop their projects at host institutions in Piemonte and Liguria with an accompanying capacity-building pathway. The call encourages activities aligned with EU technological trajectories, including digital technologies and artificial intelligence, while remaining thematically open.

Support for research projects not funded by competitive international/European calls; hosting and a structured capacity-building pathway for holders of the MSCA Seal of Excellence to develop their research and valorize results toward technology transfer and entrepreneurship.

Beneficiaries of Line 1 and Line 2 are entities with an operational seat active in Piemonte and/or Liguria, including universities; public and private non-profit research bodies; public or private IRCCS; and hospital companies and university hospital companies.
