Iniziativa 2026 per la valorizzazione dei beni confiscati alle mafie

The Iniziativa 2026 is a grant programme to support interventions that valorise assets confiscated from mafias in selected regions of southern Italy. It targets third-sector organisations forming partnerships to develop sustainable social, cultural and economic projects that enable community reclaiming of confiscated assets. The call provides project funding and technical support for project development through a two-phase selection process.

Project grant funding up to €400,000 per project; technical support from Foundation offices for development of the full project proposal.

Third-sector organisations in partnership (project partnerships must include three or more organisations, at least two of which are third-sector entities). Projects must concern assets confiscated from mafias located in Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Puglia, Sardegna or Sicilia and not previously funded by the Foundation.

Two-phase selection: submit a short abstract using the provided model for initial eligibility check; selected ideas proceed to a supported development phase to produce a full project with detailed activities, budget, indicators and sustainability plan. Abstracts should be sent to the contact email.
