CAFF Youth Challenge 2026

The CAFF Youth Challenge is a mini grants competition hosted by The Food Bridge that empowers young innovators in Africa and the Caribbean to revive, promote, and innovate forgotten foods. Participants submit a proposal detailing their problem statement, expected impact, beneficiaries, budget, and implementation plan, with grants of €200–€300 and opportunities for mentorship and networking.

Mini grants of €200–€300; mentorship and capacity-building; networking with food innovators and changemakers.

Applicants must be young people aged 18–30 from Africa or the Caribbean, proposing innovative ideas that promote forgotten/indigenous foods and have a direct impact on youth in university campuses or semi-urban communities.
