GBIF Virtual Data Mobilization Workshop for West Asia 2026

A virtual data mobilization workshop organized by the GBIF Asia Regional Support Team to address capacity needs and promote data publication across the West Asia region. It aims to train data holders in project planning, data capture, data management and data publication, with focus on GBIF’s tools and infrastructure. Participants who complete the workshop and assignments will receive a badge certifying the skills acquired.

Open to government and organizational representatives from Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, United Arab Emirates and Yemen.
