Global Talent Ireland Fully-funded Scholarship for All Countries 2026

Global Talent Ireland 2026 aims to attract exceptional mid-career and established researchers from around the world to relocate their research to Ireland.

Research funding, startup funding, relocation support, and resources to build a research team; six years of funding.

Open to researchers from all countries; two streams for applicants: Rising Stars (5–15 years post-PhD) and Research Leaders (16+ years post-PhD) with specific criteria.

Identify an eligible Irish Research Body; contact the relevant Research Office to discuss recruitment potential; complete the EoI template (from Research Ireland’s website); submit the signed EoI via the host institution’s Research Office to globaltalent@researchireland.ie; if shortlisted, submit full proposal via SESAME in October 2025.
