EJN Media Grants to Support Coverage of Countries’ Progress Toward the 30×30 Marine Conservation Target 2026

EJN is offering media grants to newsrooms and media organizations in coastal countries to support in-depth reporting projects, capacity building for journalists, and related activities focused on progress toward the 30×30 marine conservation target. Grant funding aims to improve the quality and quantity of coverage on marine conservation issues and related challenges and solutions.

Grant funding of $10,000 USD per selected organization; training of journalists; potential to increase coverage on the 30×30 marine conservation target.

Newsrooms and media organizations in coastal countries are eligible to apply. Applications from Ghana, Mexico, and the Philippines are specifically prioritized.
