Chinese Government Scholarships (CSC Scholarships)

The China Scholarship Council (CSC) awards Chinese Government Scholarships to international students for study at Chinese universities affiliated with CSC, covering undergraduate, master, PhD, exchange and Chinese-language programmes. Applications to the CSC online application system or via universities and embassies are used to allocate scholarships. Results are announced by the end of July and successful students normally join universities at the start of September. The programme includes specific schemes such as MOFCOM Scholarships and Silk Road / Belt and Road related scholarships.

Find a CSC-affiliated university, contact a prospective supervisor, complete the CSC online application form (studyinchina.csc.edu.cn), complete the Foreigner Physical Examination form and send printed documents to the university or apply via embassy/HEI as applicable.
