A summer Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program run by the Virginia Tech Center for Human-Computer Interaction that places undergraduate students with university faculty to work on HCI research projects over several weeks. The program emphasizes diversity by partnering with multiple minority-serving and other colleges and includes students from Virginia Tech and partner institutions. Participants work on projects ranging from mobile applications to applied graphics and receive on-campus housing, meals, and a stipend.
