National Youth Science Camp

The National Youth Science Camp (NYSCamp) is a residential STEAM program for high-potential student delegates from the United States and selected international delegates. It combines daily expert lectures, directed studies, seminars, arts programming, and an outdoor adventure program. The camp provides housing, meals, transportation, and supplies to participants. Delegates also travel to Washington, DC for additional activities and engagements.

Typically two delegates are selected to attend from each U.S. state and the District of Columbia; international delegates are hosted in partnership with the U.S. State Department. Some U.S. states select delegates via state science fairs while others use an online application process.

U.S. applicants may be selected via state science fairs or submit an online application per state instructions; international applicants are hosted in partnership with the U.S. State Department and follow the international application instructions.
