Geology Rocks!

A multi-day summer camp for high school students introducing careers and concepts in the geosciences through field trips and hands-on activities in the Black Hills region. Participants visit sites such as caverns, an active gold mine, the Mammoth Site and Badlands National Park and learn about minerals, rocks, fossils, water, maps and mineral exploration. The program includes guided field experiences, classroom activities, and a parent cookie reception concluding the camp.

Students entering their freshman, sophomore, junior or senior year of high school and recent high school graduates.
