DW Akademie Young Media Makers Fellowship Program 2026

The Young Media Makers Fellowship Program is a DW Akademie initiative in the Western Balkans that provides training, capacity building, and network opportunities for young media professionals. The program includes seminars, workshops, mentoring, and professional trips, spanning mid-2026 to the end of 2028, with additional supports such as travel, accommodation, and meals funded by DW Akademie. Upon completion, participants receive a certificate.

Travel expenses, accommodation, meals, and a certificate upon successful completion.

Open to young media professionals aged 25-35 from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia or Serbia, with work experience in journalism or media-related fields and good English skills.
