MEGA Hackathon 2026

MEGA Hackathon 2026 is an online student hackathon focused on applying computer science and STEM to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 11 and SDG 16. The event runs over two days (February 28–March 1, 2026) and includes tracks such as web development, data science, and machine learning. Participants may work in teams of 1–5, receive mentorship from industry professionals, and present a project submission including a presentation or video and any code. Prizes and awards are offered across multiple categories, including gold/silver/bronze, Wolfram Award, and topic-specific awards.

Prizes including subscriptions, service credits, and coupon rewards for gold/silver/bronze and category awards; Wolfram|One subscriptions and a conditional $500 scholarship to Wolfram Summer Programs if accepted; participation prizes and software/tool access during the hackathon.

Open to students, including high school and college students from around the world; no prerequisites other than an interest in computer science.

Complete the registration form and sign up on the Devpost event page; submit project with presentation/video and code (GitHub link preferred) via the Devpost submission process.
